Superior Shows -2018 Fall Harvest of Crafts Application

 

SHOW HISTORY:
The Fall Harvest of Crafts, craft show, was a very successful show that ran for many years and became to much for the prior promoters to handle. It was a hugely successful, well attended show and many were sad to see it go. In 2016, due to much demand for the return of the show, Superior Shows recreated the show. The 2016 inaugural show had just under 800 attendees with 100 plus booths, with booths available both indoors and outdoors. The show also boasted free face painting for kids and a Pumpkin Patch (which was very popular) where visitors could choose from a wide variety of both decorative fall pumpkins and gourds as well as carving pumpkins for Halloween. Coming years promise to be even bigger and better.

 

2017 – Year 2 was a huge success with nearly 1500 people thru the door and many vendors reporting an increase in sales over year 1. We are looking forward to an even bigger and better year 3!

This is a hand-made only show and is strictly enforced.
All products must be juried before approval.

If you are interested in the show, please apply early as we try to keep duplication of products to one or two per type, with the exception of Jewelry, we allowed 5 jewelry booths in 2017.

Checks may be post dated to hold your space (see application for details).

 

LOCATION
Hayes Middle School, 12620 Nixon Rd, Grand Ledge, MI 48837

 

ADMISSION
Admission to the public is $2 per person with kids 12 and under free.
A portion of the proceeds are donated to a local charity. In 2016, we donated to Blessings in a Backpack, a local charity that is 100% donor funded. All employees are volunteers and each week they pack backpacks that are sent home to local needy children containing snacks, drinks and toiletry items to get them thru the weekend. Hundreds of these packs are filled and sent home each and every week.

Our 2017 Charity is the Grand Ledge High School Archery Team. This team has made it to Nationals every year and receives no funding from the school. All participation is fully funded by the families of the children participating. The High School Archery team will be on site to help with loading in and loading out. A portion of the proceeds from the admission collected at the door will be donated to this great group of kids.

ADVERTISING

We have an extensive advertising campaign for the show. Advertising avenues are:

Ads in newsletters and on school site to all families in the Grand Ledge School System (approx 7000 families)

Road signs (approx 30 signs on key corners in 4 directions up to 5 miles away from show)

Listing on Lansing State Journal Events site

Event listings with several local radio and tv stations

Announcements in the Community Newspapers for Grand Ledge and 10 surrounding communities

Announcements and ads through the GL Chamber

Facebook ads and postings on all local community sites reaching over 200,000 people

Large Banner at Grand Ledge 4 corner, (Saginaw Hwy & M100) heavy traffic intersection

Large Ad Sign on heavy traffic intersection (Saginaw Hwy & Nixon) to the school

Signs in windows of many local businesses

Table top announcements on tables in many local restaurants
